new progress on hubby's blanket

no picture to provide at the moment but i completed row 2 of 3 yesterday and have begun row 3! whoo hoo. getting close to finishing the dang thing.

i will try to share picture sometime this week.

You know you're addicted when.........

you base your decisions for a purse on whether or not your knitting projects will fit inside it. this is beginning to happen to me. i bought a purse at goodwill that i thought would be good for my knitting but it's a little too small then today at the mall i seen a lady with a purse that i contemplated on buyin the past and the first thing i thought "i should've gotten that one!"

Practice makes perfect

practice makes perfect. this is my first try at doing the sweaters for the red sweater thing. i just used "practice" yarn to see if i could do it and i could!! so tomorrow i go and buy some yarn for this! yay!

i'm preparing to participate in the red sweater thing (click on title of this post to go to site) and help out if you can! it took me about 6 hours to get this done and that's with interruptions from my kids so minus that, it was actually about 2 hours worth of work!

Progress on hubby's blanket

progress as of 3/16/05, i decided to go ahead and sew the seams together of what i already have done cuz i needed something else to do! lol. but i'm sad cuz the colors are so far off! i know i know............buy enough yarn from the same dye lot..........

whoo hoo i figured it out!

thank you Justy from http://justyknits.blogspot.com I came upon her site today and I emailed her asking her how to put the pictures in the sidebar and she was nice enough to help me even though she had no idea who I am! thank you so so so much!

but now i have a couple pictures on the sidebar and am working on getting more over there. i will figure out how to get my picture up there so you can see what i look like :)

YAY I'M IN THE LOOP

This is a picture of my first pair of circulars. i just got them today around 4pm and as soon as i got home, i transferred my hubby's blanket onto them! it took me a few minutes to figure out how to hold the needles but i figured it out! *blushes*

this is chris' blanket that i'm working on. row 1 and row 2 are shown. i put the notebook so you could see how long it is and how big it's going to be (hubby's 6'4!)
